Toph, Aang, an Sokka discover an easy way to make money, however Katara feels it is immoral causing her to clash with Toph, who tells her that she is the party pooper of the group. Driven to prove to the gang she is not a wet blanket, Katara goes against her better judgement and agrees to pull off a scam with Toph, however it backfires and the two end up in jail. On their way to the invasion rondevu point, the gang stays with an elderly woman (who they later find out is also a native of the Southern Water Tribe) running a small hotel after she warns them that the woods in this town are not safe. After discovering people have been mysteriously going missing after going into the woods during a full moon the gang suspects the spirits may have a hand in it, however the truth shocks them. Once there they discover that war prisoners are not sent to Boiling Rock, but are happy to find Suki. Feeling as though Katara’s hatred for him is somehow deeply rooted in the death of her mother, Zuko asks Sokka to explain how she died. s3e17 The Ember Island Players
The gang is forced to look at themselves from a third party view after watching a play about their adventures, and don’t like what they see. Mainly Zuko, who regrets betraying his uncle, and Aang, who is unsure where he stands with Katara.
s3e18 Sozin's Comet, Part 1: The Phoenix King
After learning that the gang assumed they could face the Firelord after Sozin’s Comet had passed, Zuko reveals to them that it must be done before the comet arrives, as Firelord Ozai plans to use it’s power to wipe out the earthbenders completely just as Firelord Sozin did to the airbenders a hundred years ago. To make matters worse, the comet is arriving in three days. Aang begins to struggle with the fact that he will have to kill Ozai in order to stop him, something he feels he cannot do. In the middle of the night he awakens in a trance, and swims out to a nearby island. After June is unable to track down Aang, the gang decides they must find the only other person alive who could help them defeat the Firelord; Iroh. They find him on the outskirts of Ba Sing Se, where he has gathered the Order of the White Lotus, an ancient society which transcends the division of the four nations, to free Ba Sing Se from the Fire Nation. On the island, Aang seeks guidance from his past lives, but is not happy with their advice. Soon after he discovers that he is not on an island at all, but on the back of a Lion Turtle, whose advice aids him greatly.
s3e20 Sozin's Comet, Part 3: Into The Inferno
Having decided to split up, Zuko and Katara head to the Fire Nation in order to stop Azula, who has become extremely paranoid and power hungry since becoming Firelord, once and for all; while Sokka, Toph, and Suki head to stop the air ship fleet that will destroy the Earth Kingdom. On their way to Omashu Aang, Katara, and Sokka meet a group of nomads who show them a shortcut through the Cave of Two Lovers. But when the group becomes trapped in the cave, it's up to Aang and Katara to save the group by trusting in love, and possibly questioning their relationship. s1e1 The Boy In The Iceberg
During a routine mission at sea, the young waterbender-in-training Katara and her brother Sokka discover a young boy named Aang who has been frozen in an iceberg. As if that wasn’t strange enough, Aang is an Air Nomad, a people thought extinct. Katara readily makes friends with Aang and invites him to camp, and although Sokka is more hesitant, he goes along with it. But is there something about the young airbender that he isn’t sharing?
s1e2 The Avatar Returns
Aang’s friends get more and more uneasy as they sense something is different about him. Finally, he is forced to tell them the more- he is not just an airbender. He is the missing Avatar! Meanwhile, Prince Zuko, the banished prince of the Fire Nation, closes in on the Avatar’s location, determined to capture Aang at any cost. It’s going to take all of the Avatar’s skill to escape the prince and begin his journey at last.

During a routine mission at sea, the young waterbender-in-training Katara and her brother Sokka discover a young boy named Aang who has been frozen in an iceberg. As if that wasn’t strange enough, Aang is an Air Nomad, a people thought extinct. Katara readily makes friends with Aang and invites him to camp, and although Sokka is more hesitant, he goes along with it. But is there something about the young airbender that he isn’t sharing?
